Nina Gorgijevska, Colby, debuted her freshman year by tallying 69 digs and averaging 5.31digs per set. She passed an average of 2.4 in serve receive over the course of the weekend.
Melanie Loiseau, Colby, returned for her sophomore season with high expectations for herself and her team and it showed this weekend in Beatrice. She averaged 10.38 assists per set and 1.38 kills per set with a hitting efficiency of .394. She also led Colby in aces with 14, averaging 1.08 per set.
Viviane Viana recorded Seward County's first ever 25 kill/25 dig match with her 26 kill/27 dig performance against Odessa to open up the season. She gave SC an 8-6 advantage midway through the 5th set with two straight kills to give the Lady Saints momentum in the backend.
