KJCCC Division II Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

Johnson County sophomore middle hitter Jadyn Troutman helped lead the No. 3-ranked Cavaliers to four wins over the weekend, three over ranked teams, including No. 1 Parkland. Troutman registered a team-high 48 kills while hitting a team-best .493. She was in double figures for kills in all three matches against the ranked teams, highlighted by a 14-kill effort against Parkland. She also led the team with 18 blocks.

Ranked third in the nation in blocks per set with 1.87. Hughes is averaging 2.1 kills per set and has nine service aces. She is also second in the country with block assists with 21. She helped the Blue Devils to a 3-1 start to the season this past weekend. She is also averaging almost five points per set for the Blue Devils with her offensive and defensive prowess.

Johnson County sophomore setter Lauren McClure directed the offense tallying a total of 102 assists. She was in double digits in all four matches, with a high of 37 against No. 1-ranked Parkland. In that match, she also had 11 digs to notch her first double-double of the season.
