Johnson County sophomore middle hitter Jadyn Troutman had a great week offensively while also dominating at the net defensively with her blocking. She showed a lot of discipline in controlling her power in tight moments. Troutman tallied 36 kills with a .357 hitting percentage and 24 blocks. Troutman currently leads the Kansas Jayhawk D-II Conference in kills (181), hitting percentage (.384), blocks per set (1.66), and total blocks (93).

Andrea Maldonado has stepped into the libero role big time. She keeps balls from hitting the floor, averaging 6.4 digs per set for the week. She was only aced two times out of 58 attempts on the week. She is currently second in the conference in digs per set and third in overall digs. She can also make a difference from the serving line with her tough serves, earning Allen many aces against Labette last week.

Taryn Dial added 9.05 assists per set and 2.5 digs per set in the Blue Devils' five games last week. Her best game came against St. Louis CC, where she had 42 assists and 13 digs. She added a total of three double-doubles for the week.
