The NJCAA Region VI Women's Basketball Division I Champion is Garden City Community College. Garden City defeated Cowley County Community College women to earn the right to play in the NJCAA National Tournament on March 18, 2003. Chareka Terry, 5'10" Sophomore, from Garden City Community College received the most votes and will be nominated for All-American honors.
