Sydney Cicchetti
Seward County Community College
5'6"
Sophomore
Right-Handed Pitcher
Trail, British Columbia
Not usually known as a strikeout pitcher, Cicchetti sure
earned that title this week as she fanned 41 batters in just
26 innings while going 3-1 with a 1.35 ERA including a pair
of complete game shutouts in four starts. Tuesday against
Barton she struck out 11 in a two hit shutout and topped
that on Sunday against #18 Western Nebraska when she struck
out a career high 14 while carrying a no-hitter into the 7th
inning against the Cougars. She would give up a hit but
would finish the game with a one hit shutout for her 3rd win
of the week.
