Shockley hit an even .500 this week for Seward County,
helping the Lady Saints to a 5-1 record in 6 games.
Thursday on the road at Otero, the freshman catcher had a
big day, going 5 for 8 with 3 RBI�s and backed that up with
a 4 for 6, 3 RBI day against Barton on Saturday.

Blaire Taylor had a perfect 3-0 week for Seward, posting a
1.59 ERA in 22 innings pitched over three games.
Monday against Dodge City she whirled a two hit complete
game, striking out a career high 8 in a win over the Lady
Conqs. Thursday against a tough Otero team, Taylor
again stepped up big for the Lady Saints, going all 9
innings of an extra inning win for Seward to help Seward
beat the Lady Rattlers 7-5. On Saturday Taylor allowed
just 2 hits in a 8-0 shutout against the Barton Cougars to
push the Lady Saints into first place in the Jayhawk West.
