Lady Saints sophomore Bianca Adame had a big week in four
Seward County Jayhawk West Conference wins. Wednesday
against Garden City she had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s in game one
of a double header sweep for Seward and in game two she had
a run and a stolen base for the Lady Saints. Saturday
against Barton she was deadly, going 7 for 9 on the day with
4 runs scored in two more Seward wins. In game two against
the Lady Cougars she stole 3 bases, tying the school’s
all-time single season stolen base record with 35 and
breaking the all-time career stolen base record with the
59th swipe of her career. |

Dickson helped Seward to a perfect 4-0 week, pitching in 2
games, allowing just 1 run in 13 innings pitched while
striking out 12 and walking just 2. Wednesday against
Garden City she went all 7 innings of a 6-1 Lady Saints win,
giving up just 3 hits and 1 run to the potent Lady Buster
lineup. On Saturday in Great Bend against Barton she one
upped herself, spinning a two hit, complete game shutout,
striking out 7 Lady Cougars in an 11-0 Seward County win. |
