the Salt Lake Invite this past weekend. All seven HCC
opponents were ranked in the top 20 last season. Blum also had

Kirkwood led Seward County to a 3-1 record at the Hill
College Labor Day Tournament this past weekend. In eight games
played, Kirkwood posted 93 assists, .667 Hitting % (16 kills-0
errors-24 attempts), 12 service aces, six digs and six blocks.
Kirkwood averaged 11.63 assists per game and was named
All-Tournament team. Kirkwood currently is ranked in the Top 5
in the NJCAA in the following categories, No. 5 in Hitting
Efficiency (.500), No. 4 in Aces Per Game (3.67) and No. 4 in
Assists Per Game (11.26).
