Sophomore Stephanie Franz had a huge week against two quality opponents for the No. 13 Lady Dragons. She totaled five goals and two assists in victories over Neosho County and Western Nebraska. Against Neosho County, Franz had her first hat trick of the season and fifth of her career for a season-high seven points. Against once-beaten Western Nebraska, Franz tallied two early goals and had an assist on a huge insurance goal in the second half. Franz is now third on HCC�s career goals list with 32 and third on the career points list with 76.

JCCC freshman goalkeeper Jessie Jacob registered three road shutout victories last week, helping JCCC to a 5-1-0 mark.  She stopped all seven shots she faced in the three matches, including three each in 2-0 wins at Illinois Central and Southwestern Illinois.
